| Speaker:
Professor Bob Hargreaves
Capital PIA welcomes the well respected Massey
University Lecturer, Bob Hargreaves. Professor Bob Hargreaves
holds the Chair in Property Studies and is the Director
of the Massey University Real Estate Analysis Unit and
at our April seminar; Bob Hargreaves will argue that
the aging demographics suggest a bust is unlikely in
the property market.
Bob Hargreaves is probably one of the most well known
property academics in the country. One of Bob Hargreaves
major topics of discussion over the past few years,
and a topic which he has researched widely, is the relationship
between the baby boomer generation and the housing market.
Now that housing has come off the boil in the past 12
– 18 months, how does that impact Bob’s
view of the future, if at all? How long will the recession
last in the housing market? What impact will it have
on rents?..
