Capital Property Investors' Association is affiliated to the NZ Property Investors Federation (NZPIF). Being part of a National Body provides Capital Property Investors Association members a voice with more political influence than an Association would have solely representing a local Property Investors group.

NZPIF is the umbrella body for 20 local Property Investors' Associations throughout New Zealand. Each Property Investors' Associations is an independent and autonomous body in its own right.

Other benefits of affiliation to the NZPIF:

• Retains the services a political lobbyist who maintains a close political watch on Parliamental legislative activities. With the Federation’s interests in mind, the NZPIF Lobbyist prepares legislative submissions on behalf of the NZPIF
  
• Has an insurance scheme especially structured for rental properties available at discounted rates to financial Association members.
  
• Has available a range of goods and services available to Association Members
  
• Has established the website www.nzpif.org.nz as tool for the promotion of landlord to belong to an affiliated Property Investor Asociation as well as a place to communicate ideas and information between affiliated Association members nationally.
  
• Arranges educational seminars, forums and an annual conferences on property investment topics.
